CPU load for tabs not top front (like the release notes)

I was worried that, after the update of Obsidian suddenly just having the Obsidian Window open creates high cpu load….

I figured the load went away when I closed the release notes tab which was NOT open but still in the tab bar.

Apparently the videos running there are kept running even when the tab is not front and consume cpu power……

It feels like tabs not front open should not consume any cpu load.

I can’t reproduce.

Please resubmit this bug report and make sure that: 1) you follow the bug report template, 2) you use the default theme (no css) and 3) there are no third-party plugins enabled (You can use the sandbox vault for 2 and 3).

Post a screen recording of this happening in the sandbox vault.
