Steps to reproduce

Copying and Pasting from Microsoft Word processor to Obsidian Editor Mode.

Expected result

I expected only text to be copied over, not additional stuff.

Environment

  • Operating system: Win 10 Version 1607
  • Obsidian version: V0.10.8

Additional information

This really is a minor issue, and I’m actually not certain if this is intentional or something. But I thought I might as well post it.

Have you tried pasting with Ctrl+Shift+V? (That removes formatting. I don’t know if it will work in this situation.)

Yes sir. Ctrl+Shift+V does remove the extra red text. Thanks!

Btw, do you know what the red text is?

My guess would be styling definitions from Word.
