Often when it copy paste something into Obsidian the text is surrounded by [ ](<>), for example: [ ](<my pasted text>). This happens both when I am copy pasting from one .md in Obsidian to another, as well as when pasting from outside of Obsidian. It doesn’t always happen though, but I haven’t quite figured out the conditions under which it happens every time. It never seems to assist in formatting, pasting as plain text never prevents it from happening, and it is always just extra fat that I have to delete myself. I’d really like to know what causes this and how I can stop it from happening so I don’t have to delete random text half the times I paste something.
