Copy Obsidian URI link pasted into an external app, clicking the link in the external app gets Obsidian to the right note but does not give focus to Obsidian (W11)

Is this expected ? If so are there any plugins that will fix this ?
If not, how can I fix what is broken ?

What I’m trying to do is to get a pasted URI to give focus to Obsidian and to the right note (W11)

Things I have tried - not sure what to try …
