"Copy as quote" option not available when highlighting text across multiple pages

Hi.

I use the “copy as quote” feature a lot to copy text from pdfs to my own notes. However, when i highlight text in the pdf that spans across multiple pages, the option disappears. Would be smooth with a fix. Love the software.

Just trying to quote some stuff.

Proposed solution

I am not a programmer, but it seems that Obisidan simply does not understand how to generate a reference link with more than one page.

Current workaround (optional)

I copy the text before the page gap and “copy as quote” to get the right formatting with the reference link, then i copy the rest.

I have the same problem.

Copy as quote is always unavailable for paragraphs or more than 2 or 3 lines. This is the same whether there is a page break or not. My workaround is to highlight just a few words, where copy as quote is displayed as an option, then simply copy the remainder into the quoted callout afterwards. This is far from ideal.

This problem is the same in both the native PDF reader and PDF++ and is quite frustrating as copying and quoting from PDFs is something I do all the time.
