It would be great to have an option to toggle spellcheck for only select documents, not just the global vault.
I work with Latin and German sources pasted into Obsidian, but I also want to compose essays in the same vault. I want spellcheck for my essays, but no spellcheck for the documents with Latin and German.
Proposed solution
Right-clicking on the file in the file explorer and having an option to toggle spellcheck for that specific document. Default for any new created note would still be the global spell check.
Current workaround (optional)
I write essays in a different vault than my notes and references, and switch back and forth between vaults. Clunky.
