Steps to reproduce

Open Settings. The explanation text for “Auto pair Markdown syntax” setting is misleading:

Pair symbols automatically for bold and italic.

Expected result

The text should indicate that this setting auto-pairs lots of different markdown, e.g.

Pair symbols automatically for bold, italic, highlight, and more.

@WhiteNoise I see this was repro’d and closed a while ago but I have not seen it fixed in the app.

@WhiteNoise In Add an Obsidian command for ‘toggle strikethrough for selection' - #7 by malecjan I suggested concise version idicating more options by ellipses. Would that be acceptable?

I would just update description in settings from
“Pair symbols automatically for bold and italic.”
to
“Pair symbols automatically for bold, italic, ...”

Which would loosely indicate it supports more symbols. Precise range of autopaired markdown syntax can be specified in up to date documentation.
