Use case or problem
When I want to open an existing file from the quick switcher, currently I can only open the file in the same pane or in a new pane.
I’d like to create / open the file directly in a new popout window.
Proposed solution
Create an additional option ‘shift-ctrl-enter’ to open the file directly in a new window.
Current workaround (optional)
Currently I have to open it in a new pane, then move that pane into a popout window.
