I am trying to collaborate with colleagues using MS Word. For this, I export notes to docx. When the collaborative work is finished, I copy/paste the modifications to the original note.
This is cumbersome and I was wondering if there is a way (a plugin?) to keep the two docs in sync, or at least to re-import the docx content to the note more quickly.
Nothing sync related (that I remember), but some workflows in a recent thread might be of help to get you headed in the right direction.
I would like to markdown whole word docs and have them in Obsidian. I am a total nube and have no coding experience, so when I’ve seen this topic discussed in the forum before, it’s all over my head. Is there any way to articulate this step by step how-to in an easy way for someone like me?
Thanks for the tip! I actually had
PanWriter installed and I discovered that it does a pretty good job in converting docx to md with a simple drag and drop. I suppose this could be replaced by the Pandoc command doing the conversion. I don’t know how to develop plugins this would make a useful one.
That will do for now.
