When I hit enter when editing code blocks, instead giving me a new line, it tabs back? How do I fix this to give me a new line instead of tabbing back? It only gives me a new line when I have tabbed all the way back.
It only happens when the line is empty. If there is text in the line, then it gives me a new line.
This is common in several editors I’m aware of. It does the same thing with nested bulleted lists. It’s a way of quickly ending a bulleted list, or an indented block. By hitting return on the end of the block.
I don’t know of any workaround, but that’s the explanation anyway.
