I usually have several Claude Code and Codex sessions running across different cmux workspaces. The difficult part was no longer starting agents it was remembering which terminal was working on what.
So I built cmux Agent Orchestrator.
It gives me one place inside Obsidian to:
- See the coding-agent sessions running in cmux
- Distinguish runs using their actual conversation titles
- Connect sessions to durable Markdown tasks
- Organise those tasks on a work board
- See runs that may need attention
- Jump directly to the exact terminal in cmux
cmux continues to own all terminals and processes. The plugin does not start, stop, resume, or kill agents. Terminal previews are bounded and memory-only, and there is no telemetry or hosted backend.
It is currently desktop-only, requires macOS and cmux, and v0.2.0 is available in the Community Directory.
