Using CMD + O to open a file is insanely convenient, but shouldn’t it also jump to that file in the file explorer tree?
This is useful if the file I want is deeply nested in directories.

I personally prefer the way “open” is separate from “reveal file in active directory.” It’s an extra click, but I would find it upsetting if I had navigated to a particular part of my file tree and things got jerked around just because I had opened another note.
I do believe there is a way to combine commands, though, such that you could change your ctrl+O
hotkey to fire open and "reveal file in active directory.
That works for me. I’ve found “reveal file in active dir” to CMD+SHIFT+O. Thanks!
