Cmd + k for external linking leaves cursor inside the parentheses

When hitting cmd +k to link an external site to text (create a hyper link), the cursor is left inside the final parenthesis, rather than outside. A small issue, but one that adds an extra, unnecessary keystroke (right arrow) to get back to typing.

I don’t see anything wrong with it?

@WhiteNoise You don’t see anything wrong with the cursor still being inside the linking brackets, or it’s not happening on your computer?

On mine, the creation of an internal link puts the cursor outside the brackets, while the creation of an external link puts it on the inside.

So, in these two linking cases, the cursor ends up in a different place. There may be a reason for this being the case, but if there isn’t, it’s just a small, but noticeable (for me) inconsistency that could probably be easily fixed.

I don’t think it wrong that the cursor is inside the brackets. Can you post a screen recording of what you are talking about in the help vault?

Not at the moment, no.
