Close window action breaks notes on mobile

Steps to reproduce

  • open obsidian vault on mobile
  • open at least one tab
  • use the action “close window”
  • try opening today’s daily notes from the action menu

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Expected result

It should be able to open the daily note.

Actual result

Obsidian error banner stating: “Failed to load “2024-05-30.md”. null is not an object (evaluating ‘localStorage.getltem’)“

ok, I don’t think there should be a close window on mobile. There are no windows, and the command will be removed in the 1.6.2.

You didn’t provide the debug info. I can’t reproduce this on mobile 1.6.1.

I can only provide the debug info before the aforementioned steps. Afterwards the debug info gets stuck on “loading…”.

I am able to replicate this even in a new vault. Also when the daily note exists or doesn’t. Maybe there is a change on 1.6.x that resolves the issue.

But ideally “close window” doesn’t make sense on mobile so it should be removed to prevent clutter. I had initially tried it out just out of curiosity.
