Click in Reading Mode to Locate Text in Source Mode (Split View Sync Request)

I always work in Obsidian with two split panes: the left side in Edit Mode (with Source Mode enabled) and the right side in Reading Mode.

Because Source Mode is active, the content in the two panes doesn’t align visually. For example, in Reading Mode, there may be images, larger text, and tabs, while in Source Mode, it’s just plain text and links. So lines don’t match up between the two views.
(See attached images for reference.)

The issue is: when I’m reading in Reading Mode and notice a mistake, it’s a real headache to locate that same spot in Source Mode in order to edit it.

I would love to have a feature where, if I click on a word or sentence in Reading Mode, the corresponding text in Source Mode would either get highlighted or jump to that exact line. Something like that.

If there is a plugin for it, I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks in advance!
