Things I have tried

I used ascii-art identifier, then the class in preview-view was langugage-ascii-art.

Later I changed it into ascii. the class became - language-ascii (a hyphen here) and the class of <pre> tag was missing.

This makes the css style not rendering as expected.
I am wondering why they are different.

More information:

With ascii remained as my identifier, I modified the content in the code block, the class of <pre> tag reappeared.
