Checkboxes no longer working

The command Ctrl->Enter is no longer working to add checkboxes to Obsidian and all the checkboxes that I had on previous notes are also gone. I have checked for updates and everything is up to date. Can anyone assist? Thank you!

CMD ENTER (not CTRL ENTER) works on a Mac. Tried that or your OS’s equivalent?

And if you updated to v0.14.5, did you update the installer as well? A new Electron version is needed … which you can get by quitting the app and doing a fresh install from: Download - Obsidian

Thanks for the quick reply. An update was needed for the theme I use and once that was applied, all my checkboxes returned.
