Use case or problem
As you can see from the GIF above, as you are typing and the character count changes / animates with the different numbers, everything is shifting around because of the width of the different numbers. This is pretty jarring / distracting to me as I’m typing (and I assume others may feel the same).
Proposed solution
A simple fix for this would be to utilize a mono-space font (or monospace option for current font)
