I don’t experience this on Mac or Windows.
Can you please run “Show debug info” and paste your results?
Or try to disable community plugins, custom CSS snippets, and any custom theme (one test at a time, ideally.)

Hmm, strange, maybe one of your installed plugins had some settings which didn’t get deactivated.

if I click on Stack tabs and have only 1 open Tab I get the canvas shivering effect.
It behaves OK with 2 open tabs (canvas or not) or if I unstack tabs.
