Canvas preview not displaying in note

  • Obsidian 1.8.10 and earlier versions
  • Processor: Intel(R) Core™ i3 CPU M 380 @ 2.53GHz
  • RAM: 4.00 GB (3.86 GB available)
  • System type: 64-bit OS, x64 processor
  • OS: Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2 (Build 19045.2965)
    Detailed Description:
    When adding a created Canvas to a note and prepending it with ! syntax, the note only displays the Canvas background in the preview mode - the actual Canvas content fails to render.

Hi, this isn’t a bug. It isn’t supported yet.

There is a feature request here: Show a complete preview of the canvas (including text) when a canvas is embedded in a note
