The issue is that when creating a new card (e.g., by double clicking), the width of the box seems to be 13.5 grid units. The default size of note boxes seems to be 20 grid units. In other words, cards don’t align with the grid on the left and right side with the default size. And this creates complications when trying to make it align with the already existing boxes.
The suggestion is that the default size of new boxes is a width of 13 or 14 grid units.

Yes, I’d love this too. I’m always resizing them to get aligned to the grid… Can’t help the OCD 
I can’t believe more people aren’t asking for this. It’s really bothering me, and I keep waiting for the next update to fix this
