Set a low value in canvas setting - Zoom threshold for hiding card content.
Search something in canvas through the usual search. Click on a fond line.
Actual result
If the card contains a small amount of text - focus shows a found text of line. If the zoom level is not comfortable, you can reduce the distance and click on the line again. Everything is fine.
But, if there is a lot of text in the card, then focus always shows not a specific line of text, but to entire card as a whole. At the sixth zoom level! With low zoom threshold - gray region with approximate text location.
Expected result
When clicking on search results, focus always, in small and big cards, shows the specific line of found text an 3-4th zoom level. Not 6/8!
Or ability to configure this parameter in the settings.
But I don’t need a card, I want to see text “111”.
This happens if you reduce zoom to lesser level and again click on search result.
For 4th zoom level:
When I click on a search result, I want to see a line of text with “333”.
I click on the result, but for some reason I see only card, not the text!
If click at minimum zoom distance, focus occurs at 5/8 zoom level.
If click at maximum zoom distance, focus remains at maximum 8/8 zoom level.
Or maximize “Zoom threshold for hiding card content”.
Why I can’t click on the result of search and, with any card size and any zoom level, see searched text with comfortable 3-4th level of zoom? Or set it up in settings?
The first is not a bug. What you are asking is an improvement.
When the canvas is zoomed out, and a search result is clicked, it should be zoomed in to make the content visible. (you can open a FR for this.)
The second is not a bug, it’s the way Search/highlighting works in reader mode, that is a at block level. In your example, you have one big block.
