Can't search in a file that is opened outside of the original Obsidian application

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open any file in main Obsidian App.
  2. Open it outside of the main app (by dragging).
  3. Try to press ctrl+f to search.

Expected result

  1. That i can search

Actual result

  1. Can’t search because the search bar doesn’t pop up like when it is opened in the main window

Environment

  1. elementary OS Hera 5.1.7 based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with kernel 5.24.x
