Can't hit enter after dragging note to paste link onto a Canvas card

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a card in canvas
  2. Drag an existing note from side panel onto the card to create link
  3. Type enter to create a new line.

Expected result

After hitting enter, a new line should be created.

Actual result

Nothing happens.
You can write, but cannot hit enter, unless you unselect the card, select it again, and then hit enter.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Custom theme and snippets: for cosmetic issues, please first try updating your theme and disabling your snippets. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the Sandbox Vault or disable community theme and snippets.

(Btw, I have no plugins or snippets, but it keeps showing 1 snippet enabled in sandbox :woman_shrugging: which is also another weird thing.)

I can reproduce this on MacOS.

Reproducing: Make sure to drag a note into a card that is in edit mode, so it makes a link. Otherwise it will just drop a new card on top.

After the link is inserting, I also can’t hit enter, but I can type.

Shift-Enter works. But the caret doesn’t move. It adds new lines underneath the caret.

I can’t repro this. Can samebody post a screen recording?

I think I figured it out. The keyboard focus ends up in the File Pane. Here is a gif. You can’t see, but after dragging the link, I am hitting enter multiple times.

Then I hit up and down, and that is how I discovered the focus was still in the File Pane. Except you can still type (not shown in this gif.)

If I hit up and/or down, and then enter, it navigates to that note.
