Can't create tasks in Journal View

Hello everyone,

I keep having this problem…

What I’m trying to do

I have set up my Obsidian as much like Logseq as possible and I am using the Journal View Plugin for a scrollable log of my daily notes. I am also using the Tasks plugin and aggregate all my tasks in one page. That works superb. But I have the issue that when I try to create a task in my Journal View (using the assigned hotkey), it simply doesn’t work. It doesn’t react at all. When I turn the current daily note into a page and enter that page (thus leaving Journal View), it works though.
Any ideas what might cause or how I could solve this?
I’d like to keep logging in my scrollable overview rather than in the separate page.

Things I have tried

I went through all settings multiple times and I checked the forum plus did an Internet search.

Hopefully someone has an idea! Thanks in advance!

You can see why by attempting to trigger the commands via the command palette.

In a regular note, you see all the commands available:

However, in a Journal View, only only Tasks: Add all Query File Defaults properties is available. So attempting to trigger the other hotkeys will simply not work. They are not available in that context.
