Cannot create newline from checkbox line in android

Steps to reproduce

Ever since the a couple weeks ago (a new android update?) trying to press enter from a line that starts from a checkbox (“- [ ]”) does nothing. It doesn’t start a new line or anything, the keyboard is definitely registering the tap but it’s a no-op in the obsidian app.

Expected result

Create a new line that also starts with a checkbox. This was working as expected until very recently.

I’ve had the same behaviour ever since i first started using the android app months ago. I find if you keep tapping the return key it eventually starts a new line, after roughly a dozen presses.
