I have a table, thats riddled with tags. This is quite essential for me in order to group my trading journal together along with the methods and systems I use.
I have noticed however, that when I search my Tags on Obsidian, rather than highlighting the specific ‘cell’ where my #tag is, the search will highlight the whole table. This is not what i’m lookin for sadly, so I was wondering if there’s a way I can get a tag search to highlight the specific area or cell the tag sits in? Thanks for any help!
I have tried searching other areas including Discord and Youtube but i haven’t seen any viable solutions yet.
Is it a manually built table, or the result of a query? This could possibly be enhanced with either a limitation to the query, or maybe some plugin able to filter on an existing table.
Another option could be to try using the line: ( ... ) search variant to limit your searches to a given line.
Hiya, thanks for your reply. I think it is a manually built table, i.e. using the function ‘| xxxx |’ to build it. I’m not proficient with any types of queries at all, but if you are suggesting to perform some type of query/coding, i may look into it
