Can I export pdf annotations from EndNote and import into Obsidian?
I’m a PhD student using EndNote as my reference management system. I upload citations and save all PDFs in EndNote. I use the EndNote reader to read the PDFs and highlight or add comments. But I haven’t found a way of taking those highlights/comments and importing them into Obsidian. Instead, I create a single note for the reference and copy/paste.
Has anyone successfully accomplished this? I considered using Readwise for this purpose but they too can’t import from EndNote.
Things I have tried
I’ve searched the help docs for ENDNOTE and not much came up. I’m not super tech savvy so I haven’t searched for other import options. I’d greatly appreciate help from someone who has done this with EndNote, or can confirm it can’t be done.
