[Calender Plugin] Notes stop showing in the Calendar view if renamed

What I’m trying to do

I am trying to rename my Daily Notes into YYYY-MM-DD (Note Title), but when I the note title, the quick link to the note disappears from the calendar view on the sidebar.

I would like to know if there is a way to make a tweak on my end so I can rename my daily notes and still have them show up on the Calendar view.

So far, the only visualized alternative to this is a database plugin. I’m open to suggestions.

There’s a feature request for wildcards on their Github page. The plugin hasn’t been updated in a while - I hear Liam has been pretty busy lately - but there may be some ideas in there to get you pointed in the right direction.

You probably need to change the name format first in Settings > Daily Notes.
