Use case or problem
When I duplicate a journal entry (In Files, I select the Journal folder, Right-Click a date and choose “Make a copy…” the entry is duplicated => “2026-07-16 1”. I then rename this to the new date, eg “2026-07-25”.
The calendar widget does not see this and if I click on the date I am asked whether I would like to create an new journal entry.
Proposed solution
Calendar automatically monitors for changes and updates accordingly.
Current workaround (optional)
Close Obsidian and open it again.
