Calendar is Disconnected from Daily Notes After 1.8.4 upgrade

What I’m trying to do

I am trying to connect the CALENDAR PLUGIN to my DAILY NOTES.
I upgraded to OBSIDIAN v1.8.4 this morning. I had a display issue, which I resolved, but my calendar is disconnected from my daily notes (there are no dots under the day numbers). Opening a new Note form the calendar uses the date format DDMMMMYYYY.

Things I have tried

  1. I checked the date format in the DAILY NOTES CORE PLUGIN. It is set to YYYY-MM-DD.
  2. I checked the date format in the TEMPLATES PLUGIN. It is set to YYYY-MM-DD.
  3. I looked for but did not find a way to change the date format in the CALENDAR PLUGIN.
  4. I reinstalled the CALENDAR PLUGIN and restarted Obsidian.

NEW INFORMATION

There is a disconnect between the Calendar date format and the Daily Note date format.
The Daily Note date format is set to YYY-MM-DD, while the calendar is creating notes as DDMMMMYYYY.

  1. I updated my installer to 1.8.4.
  2. I reinstalled the calendar plugin.

NEW INFORMATION (again)
Something has created a new DAILY NOTES folder, which the Calendar uses instead of the existing one. The DAILY NOTES settings do not have the option to select a file location, but the CALENDAR settings do, and they are set to the original Daily Notes folder (images attached).

Hi.

I don’t know anything about Windows, and I don’t use many plugins, so I am not well placed to help.

If you look at the settings for each plugin, does that show which plugin has created the new DAILY NOTES folder? The Periodic Notes plugin perhaps?

I hope someone with knowledge of Windows and the plugins you are using can help.

Thank you, Gupa for your assistance. I have resolved the problem.

The Periodic Notes plugin was in conflict with the Daily Notes functionality. I synced the settings between the two and all is working again. I don’t know how they became out of sync.
