If I create a list in a note and further down the note I have an indent in a code block or try and make a callout it automatically inserts a bullet. The problem does go away if I disable Editor->Smart indent lists, but then no lists or callouts automatically continue. I’d rather not have that setting disabled.

What I’m trying to do
I just want to be able to create a callout and type code without deleting tons of extra hyphens.
Things I have tried
I’ve disabled Editor->Smart indent lists, which did “fix” the problem, but then that disables functionality I’d rather have enabled.
