RECOMMENDATIONS:
Update installer: installer version too low, please download from Download - Obsidian and reinstall.
Community plugins: for bugs, please first try updating all your plugins to latest. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the Sandbox Vault or disable community plugins.
I understand the command palette is required.
The challenge was the options were not appearing.
After several more attempts and changing from a .md file to a journal file, the command palette is now showing the options: Move line up Move line down.
iPhone 12 iOS 18.5 → Obsidian Current version: 1.9.12 (237) → file → edit → keyboard options → swipe keyboard options to far right → select shifter/spanner/wrench tool icon → drag icons to preferred order (options include icons Move line down and Move line up).
Can’t find how to edit in desktop?
Move line up and down are commands that you access via the command palette (Ctrl-P) or using hotkeys if you have assigned any. -credit to WhiteNoise’s post.
