Buggy Markdown syntax pair with an inline math block in the middle

Steps to reproduce

Type the following in the sandbox environment.

**Boldword with math equation inside $abd = a$BOLD WORD**Non-Bold word.

**normal bold word**

Expected result

When the cursor moves into the “normal bold word”, the bold syntax pair appears on both sides.

Actual result

However, if there is an inline math equation in the middle of a bold pair, then the syntax pair only appears on one side.
