[Bug] Switching between ios & desktop causes conflict in sync

Obsidian Mobile version: v1.0.5

I regularly open my daily note on iOS in the morning to add in data like hours slept, etc, then 10-60 minutes later open my desktop version. However, more often then not, this causes a conflict w/ my mac desktop version and doubles (e.g. fails to merge) the content of the note. This is the most common use case for me, but happens to notes other than my daily note too. It makes the mobile version pretty much unusable for me. I use obsidian sync.

Between my mobile & desktop versions, all settings except hotkeys and everything but audio and video are set to sync.

Any thoughts on what I can do to remedy/alleviate this? Thanks ahead of time.

If you have enabled the option to automatically create the daily note on startup, disable it. Otherwise it is created with your template first before it can be synced.

yeah when first encountering this I had this enabled, but it’s been disabled for a while and I’m still facing the same issues
