New notes don't show in File explorer after being pulled from GitHub

Obsidian Mobile version: v1.0.3

I created a method that lets one sync Obsidian vaults with GitHub using iSH ([Mobile] Sync with git on iOS for free using iSH) and stumbled upon weird behavior:

  1. Clone the repository
  2. Go back to File explorer in Obsidian
  3. The File explorer will be empty, as though there are no files
  4. The graph view is shown correctly

I found a way of hacking around this:

  1. Sort the notes in File explorer using the “Up/down arrows” button
  2. Then all files appear
