Hey team,

I raised this issue last year which was prompt fixed (thanks!) ('Always focus new tabs' feature not working with the 'Linked mentions' panel), but sadly it’s back again in v1.7.1 on macOS. Not using any plugins or custom themes

Reproduced in the sandbox as well
