Hi everyone — this is my first time sharing anything here or anywhere really, and I’ve been a little nervous about posting. I’ve been building a small set of tools for managing my board game and movie collections in Obsidian, and I finally decided to put them out in case they’re useful to anyone else.

These aren’t complicated or “developer‑level” projects — just clean, beginner‑friendly dashboards and utilities that grew out of my own vault. I tried to keep everything simple, visual, and easy to drop into any setup.

I hope these are helpful to anyone who enjoys keeping collections inside Obsidian. If you try them out, I’d love to hear how they work for you or if there’s anything that could be improved.

Thanks for taking a look.

Quick Update — March 19, 2026

Just pushed a fresh update to the Board Game Dashboard repo:

  • Added an enhanced v2 of the Add New Game form (Board Game - Add New Game v2.md) inside the ZIP.
  • It now generates game notes using a clean three‑column layout (cover image • categories card • stats card) so new entries look polished right away.
  • The original simple form is still included, so you can use whichever one you like.
  • Updated all screenshots and the example game note to reflect the new layout.

The README in the repo and ZIP now includes details for both forms. No changes were made to the dashboard itself or to the rating modifier/movie dashboard.

If you try the updated ZIP, I’d love to hear how it works on your setup or if anything feels off. Still learning the ropes of sharing these projects, so feedback is always appreciated. :game_die:
