On a longer note I am not able to block reference past a certain point. When I bracket longer notes, then insert a carrot and then scroll down I reach a point where I can’t scroll any further, even thought there is many more blocks of text. This is a real problem when I want to reference a block in a much longer note.

Any help appreciated.

This has been discussed several times.
The popup that appears is meant to be a limited suggestion list not an exhaustive list. The more you write the better suggestion you get.

The list that you see when you tipe [[note^ is a limited suggestion list not a complete list of all the blocks in note.

If you keep typing [[note^cat the suggestion list will be refined only to the blocks that contain the word cat.
