I am creating my daily note from a template. In the template I am getting a random block like this 'dice: [[Some Note]]'.
Is there a way to display that block as static text in the daily note? Meaning that it would not refresh/change the block each time I move the cursor over it?

You’ll need the Templater plugin, but in essence it renders into the new note the text of another note. The trick with this approach will likely be to get a random note - I don’t know if you can use the dice plugin from within Templater…
