Best solution for saving forum threads as markdown files?

What I’m trying to do

I’d like to save web content that are not exact articles, in which all those markdown clippers are great, but forum threads instead (with all its comments formatted in an understandable way). I know that there are some reddit solutions for this, but I haven’t found something that would work on other forums so far…

Things I have tried

Every clipper around, so I kind of gave up web clipping forum threads in markdown and went for PDF, which is what I’m currently doing. But then Obsidian was not built for managing PDFs and does so kind of clunky and AI plugins do not work with those PDF files so I can’t interact with them to find connections and stuff

omnivore can be used as a highlighter and for full text article saving and syncs with a plugin
slurp is good for other things (complete markdown article saving based on urls)

I’ve tried both and they couldn’t really do it or did in a messy way… I use a tampermonkey browser script called “pagetual” to load a whole forum thread (it’s pages become a single page) and then I want to save that whole discussion to be able to reference later. The only solution I have as of now is printing the whole thing in a PDF
