Bases: Persistent columns in Kanban view

Use case or problem

In the Kanban bases view, once a column no longer has any cards that belong to it, the column is removed. This is an issue, as oftentimes, users want Kanban columns to be displayed, even if no cards belong to it, such as columns based on task status.

Proposed solution

Keep displaying columns, even if no cards belong to them anymore, and allow users to manually hide empty columns, possibly through an action in the context menu.

Current workaround (optional)

The user could create a dummy note solely to have each column have at least one card in it, but this isn’t very ideal.

Fairly certain this specific issue was brought up and the team is aware.

In 1.14.3+, if you use the new manual grouping mode, the column persists even if there are no items in it.
