Bases multi-select

Use case or problem

I tried to select multiple files at once in a base I created, but I realized I couldn’t. If I have a large base with a large number of files, I figured we should be able to use multi-select on the different files within the bases, sort of like in Windows File Explorer. You can select multiple images, pictures, or video files. But here I can only select one file at a time.

Proposed solution

I was thinking of a multi-select feature within bases. Where you can copy, cut, share or delete

The implementation: You can select multiple files at once within the base of your choice. If you enable a multi-select feature, each file should have like a sort of checkbox(blue and white is my preference, but you can also do standard purple and black obsidian theme).

Problems with implementation: If I delete multiple files with the base, should my other bases be affected be they all pull from the same source?

Current workaround (optional)

There is no workaround for this; you can only select one file at a time.

Related feature requests (optional)

It would be awesome if bases could read thumbnails within images, files, or PDFs, and music (for cover view), so that when someone selects the file they want, then they could have the assurance that they are selecting the correct file. Because we have a problem if we are purely going by name, multiple files will have multiple similar names, etc.

At least with table view, is possible to select multiple notes (Table view - Obsidian Help).
