Use case or problem
For various reasons, I rely on my notes following a specific folder structure. However, over time, this structure has evolved multiple times, leaving my vault with an inconsistent folder organization.
To restore a coherent structure, I could either manually move each misplaced file into the correct folder (there are many folders), or automate the process based on rules.
Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way—neither natively nor via community plugins—to perform this correction automatically and safely, since it would require many different rules depending on the note type.
Proposed solution
The easiest and safest way for me would be through Bases, since I can manually create rules (filters) there and review the results.
If Bases provided a feature to move all filtered files to a specified folder, that would be a huge help.
