What I’m trying to do
I’m using Daily Note to quickly capture info. I’m using Templater to have a heading (e.g., Gardening). Further down in the note, I have a legacy template action to link to a specific daily note for the day which includes that day’s date in the file name.
Things I have tried
Ideally, I’d love to automatically have the info written in the Gardening heading automatically moved over to the linked-to new note. This would then allow me this flexibility:
- Use the daily note as a quick place to gather information.
- Use the headings on this daily note to write notes in different areas (Gardening, Work, Personal).
- Have the information under the Gardening heading automatically go over to the auto-generated link for that day’s daily gardening note. The key here is what would trigger the info under the Gardening heading to automatically go over into the linked to note?
