I’m just getting started with Obsidian and wanted help with a couple of things. I’ve tried Googling and the forums but couldn’t find anything remotely connected to my needs.

I’ve noticed that when inside an article, when I attach screenshots, they’ll get random names like “Pasted image 20210320162016.png”. It would be nice if we had an option to auto-rename the attachments to the name of the title + counter. For example {{title}} + “#1,2,3” etc.

Is there a way to do this?

So far, if ur using some tools like Snipaste, it could be solved by using saving the images and manually update the link.

Or using this bash script

Currently I’m going to write a plugin to solve this problem. I hate manually save the image and add the path :sweat:
