Good news! A developer Valentin Schröter has developed a plugin called Obsidian Virtual Linker Plugin. It’s not released as an official plugin yet, but the latest release says “First draft release to publish as official plugin.”
You can install it yourself now though - the instructions are on the project page.
I’ve tested it out a little, and it looks solid! I’ve been waiting years to have this functionality of VoodooPad in Obsidian.
