What I’m trying to do
I’m trying to embed multiple audio files on a single note and, while on the Desktop version of Obsidian everything works just fine, on Android some audio files won’t load randomly.
The audio player’s play button is greyed out and the shown audio lenght is 00:00. Sometimes the play button isn’t greyed out but the shown lenght is still 00:00 and when I try to press play, the pause button replaces the play button, but no audio is played and the time is stuck at 00:00.
The audio files which don’t load are random: each time I reopen the note, they’re different ones.
The same issue happens if I try to open and play the same audio files directly from the “attachment” folder. It happens mostly with very short clips (1 to 10 seconds), but I’m still not certain about this as the issue happens randomly.
Things I have tried
I’ve tried to reinstall the app.
I’ve tried to import audio of different formats, with different codecs and software, both mono and stereo and all kinds of bitrate and so on.
I’ve found a single bug report which seems to be related to my issue: “bug-audio-files-fail-to-load-randomly-on-android/49684”.
Does someone else with Android experience the same problem? Could some kind soul try to load 10 to 20 short audio clips inside a note, and see if it works for them?
