archive a note where it just becomes hidden but still exists.

I don’t know what the UX would be just that at a bare minimum it’s right click enabled on notes.

Use case or problem

Notes that become outdated I expect to stay out of sight.

Proposed solution

Archive notes.

Current workaround (optional)

Create a folder and store it there.

A good way to separate active from "archived" notes?

I know, folders. But say you’re seven folders deep in the hierarchy, and you really just have three notes here, and one of them is the one you want, and the other two are for stuff you’re already finished with. Clearly you want them to still be searchable, but you don’t necessarily want to see all of them in the folder hierarchy - and you DEFINITELY don’t want to have to make new “archived” folders inside every existing folder just to hide those notes.
