Any problem on using accents as folder name?

Hello there!

Sorry if this is a very “dumb” question. I was just wondering (as I am new to Obsidian) if is there any problem on using accents (for example, “Citações”) as folders names on obsidian.

Obsidian folders and notes are stored in the filesystem of your OS. Hence, if your OS (Mac or Windows or Linux or whatever) can handle those names, so can Obsidian. Things become complicated when you use the same vault with different computers, possibly with different OS. When you plan on using Sync then things get complicated and you’d better avoid using accented characters in the folder and note names.
